Ice-skating marathon in Lipno
Lake Lipno, with its length of 40 kilometres, offers in winter time great possibilities for ice-skaters. The Lipno Ice Club organises in cooperation with the Royal Dutch Skating Union, an ice-skating marathon which will take place on the 9^th of February 2008. This event is registered at the official marathon calendar and is part of a ‘sport for all’ program that takes place from the 3^rd till 10^th of February 2008.

Ab Krook opens Lipno Lake Resort
The Lipno Lake Resort was officially opened by the Dutch ice-skating coach Ab Krook. This festive occasion took place last September the 22^nd. The best known Dutch ice-skating coach felt honoured to cut the ribbon and by doing so, he signalled the start of a tremendous ‘opening’ party.
